Special Education

The BMHS Special Education Department works in collaboration with students, families, and school staff to ensure students with learning differences are appropriately supported while being appropriately challenged in their least restrictive environment.  Specialized instruction and related services are provided to address students’ individual needs to ensure they access the general education curriculum to reach their full potential of academic and social emotional development. The department works toward the successful transition of these students to post-secondary success that includes college or career readiness.
