The Marine Science Academy provides students with a variety of hands-on experiences integrated throughout all four years of the curriculum.

These opportunities emphasize real-world learning through interdisciplinary instruction, industry partnerships, and community engagement. Students engage in meaningful fieldwork and service projects that bring marine science to life such as raising and releasing trout, restoring local marine habitats, mentoring younger students, and participating in community events to showcase their learning.

Through these authentic opportunities, students apply their knowledge in dynamic settings while building the skills and connections that prepare them for future academic and career paths.
