Multilingual Learners Department

The Multilingual Learner (MLL) Department supports students acquisition of English by providing classes at students' current English linguistic level and scaffolding their learning through student-centered classes that promote higher-order thinking skills in their native language and English.
 
The department offers classes from newcomer English through English Literature and Transitional English. It also supports students in their mainstream content-area classes by providing EL supports to allow all students to access their academic curricula.
