The PE program’s emphasis is on participating in regular physical activity, working towards achieving a health-enhancing level of physical fitness; and exhibiting responsible personal and social behavior that respects self and others in a physical activity setting. The Health program focuses on the four State Standards of: Healthy and Active Life, Injury and Disease Prevention; Human Growth and Development; Substance Abuse Prevention. Both curricula develop life skills to enable all students to be successful in and out of the classroom.
